A great companion along the way
Directly after the Christmas holidays of 2020, we are leaving the Netherlands to become global nomads. We will be traveling fulltime to gather travel tips, write great content, and shoot amazing pictures and videos. That means we will be traveling for multiple years to all sorts of places around the world, like Mexico, Bali, Thailand, Portugal, Australia, The Fillipines, China, India etcetera.
And to us, that means we need great gear to make our travels comfortable. A durable suitcase that moves light, that has no problem with harsh weather circumstances, seems like a must-have to us. The Thule Chasm Wheeled Duffel will be a great partner in crime, a buddy that we will cherish along the way. The Thule Chasm will become a great companion on our world-trip!
Moves light, is strong
We've tried the Thule Chasm Wheeled Duffel for the first time in Scheveningen (The Hague, the Netherlands), and we really enjoyed the duffel. It moves very lightly, it looks very cool and we could pack literally everything and more into it for our long weekend. Although the duffel bag was quite packed, it still felt like we hardly had anything in it, it moved so smooth and light!
And the pluspoints are remarkable; the exterior is weather resistant, the zippers are very durable, the handles are very sturdy, the extra smaller compartments are very handy, and the handle to move the suitcase duffel around in your hand while walking feels great. All in all, we were pretty impressed by the built quality of this excellent duffel.

Would we recommend the Thule Chasm Wheeled Duffel?
Yes. Just simply yes. It's a great big handy and really cool looking suitcase for multiple uses; for far-way travels to exotic locations, and also for wild outdoor adventures. You can use this suitcase to travel around the world, but also to transport all your gear while trekking in nature.
But quality and durability are not cheap. The Thule Chasm Wheeled Duffel 81cm/32″ costs about 300-320 US dollars. It's definitely not cheap, but you will love and use this suitcase for many years to come. It's well worth every dollar spent.
