Let's see what Yes Theory has to say about the happiest country in the world: Bhutan!
Tucked away from the rest of the world, in the middle of the Himalayas, Yes Theory landed in Bhutan. This South-Asian country has more than 750,000 people living in it. Needless to say, it is a unique country because of its policies.
Bhutan is carbon neutral. In fact, it consumes 3 times more carbon dioxide than it produces! Although countries around the world make it seem impossible, Bhutan has given us a perfect example to follow. Yes Theory learned that this country has free health-care and free education. Sounds like a dream, right?

Thomas Brag, a member of the Yes Theory family, met the ex-prime minister of Bhutan. After having an incredible conversation with Mr. Tshering Tobgay, he found out the meaning behind the Gross National Happiness Index. It is a system where economic development is highly intentional. This system chases sustainable growth and promotes equal distribution amongst people. No wonder Bhutanese are so happy!
Yes Theory also traveled to one of the largest statues of a sitting Buddha. It was 210 feet tall! In simple words, traveling to Bhutan seemed to be a very spiritual experience. And it teaches us the true value of human beings and how society shall be run. Let's hope we take away the best lessons from this remarkable country. And work towards a sustainable future!
