This island is thin, and almost all hotels are in the center up north, or next to roads. This means it can be noisy. In some parts of towns, you have many cars, scooters, and annoying street dogs that bark all night. Be aware to find accommodation outside the center or that is near the beaches, and definitely not next to a road.
