Albert Dros shares magical drone shots of Dutch tulip fields

Albert Dros dutch tulip fields

Who doesn’t know about the famous tulip fields of the Netherlands? (If you didn’t, that’s okay. Now you will.) Having their origin in the early seventeenth century, growing tulip fields became so famous back in the day that people started using them as garden decoration, and now they’re one of the most famous tourist attractions in the world. And we absolutely love the hypnotizing sea of flower bulbs; it’s pretty as a picture!

This time around every year, millions of tourists visit these bewitching fields to see the beautiful colors in full bloom. But, if you’re missing out on them due to recent travel restrictions, or any other reason, we have a little something for you!

A short film

It’s a short film with phenomenal drone shots of the aforementioned tulip fields. Created by Albert Dros, the short film is called Tulip Mania (which is also the name given to the seventeenth century period during which tulip fields became so famous in the Netherlands, and that’s exactly what it’s about). Even though it’s a really short video of about two and a half minutes (boo!), it is guaranteed to spellbind you with the beauty it so marvelously captures.

What does it depict?

The short film consists of exquisite drone shots from tulip fields of North Holland and Flevoland. The shots are amazing, and accompanied by very serene music, they make for a really therapeutic experience. It won’t be an exaggeration to say that the short film is a work of art (and it’s in 4k!).

So, if you’re looking for a short, but intoxicating, dose of splendor, Albert Dros’s drone shots of these tulip fields are just the thing for you. We definitely recommend checking the video out on YouTube. Here’s the link to it. It’s just perfection!

But before you go, realize that nothing exciting happens staring at screens all day, book that flight to the Netherlands and get yourself a nice hotel, and live a little!
