This needs to be said immediately: the average coffee in Canggu is crazy good! Getting your cup of joe in this region is a treat for us coffee lovers. But there are a couple of cafes that stand out!
This list of the best coffee is not only from the area of Canggu, but also in Berewa. All of these recommendations are within 2-10 minutes from the center of Canggu. And my goodness free birds, these cafes will spoil you with really excellent coffee!
BGS Canggu
Canggu is a place for the cool kids. And cool kids get their fix at BGS. We don´t really get why the cool kids love this little coffee place & surf accessories shop, but their coffee is pretty darn good. This is also a great place to network with like-minded people who are into surfing, digital marketing, and influencing. Guys like Jack Morris from DoYouTravel come here as well!

Miel
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner!
By far, and I´m not even exaggerating, Miel wins the race. This cafe was recommended by Jake and Marie, who are absolute Bali-legends by now.
The lovely ladies who work at Miel welcome you with great enthusiasm, and they serve their own brew of coffee. If you order for example a latte, they will make the most sophisticated coffee art for you. And you even get a little card with your coffee that exactly tells you the flavors and so much more funny details. Coffee lovers will love this little detail!
And my goodness, this coffee tastes exceptional.
Their minimalistic-looking cafe looks like an IKEA had sex with an Apple store, so don´t expect much comfort in sitting there long. Get your fix, and maybe even take a delicious pastry with you, and walk out there with a big smile on your face.

Machinery Cafe
In this manly-looking cafe, where motor fanatics will feel at home, you can get some really strong coffee. The coffee might not look as pretty as other places, but man… this one is a banger!
I asked for the double shot latte, and the owner looked at me like; ´Are you sure buddy?!´. And then he told me about how strong their coffee is. But I took it anyway and since then I have written multiple books, have an 8-pack, built up multiple million-dollar businesses, and ran around the about world 14 times. I lost count. So, yeah, pretty strong coffee! 😉

Added 24th of July: We have some more excellent additions after visiting Canggu longer. Man, it´s really hard to find a bad cup of joe here. We kept finding more and more little shops with legendary good coffee. We are really impressed!
