While staying in lovely Tel Aviv, we stayed at the even more lovely Hotel Saul. This is our in-depth review including exclusive pictures!
”Experience the true essence of Tel Aviv in the center of the city. Where east meets west, old meets new, and hospitality is always from the heart”.
Hotel: 4/5
Boutique hotel Saul is the number 6 Hotels in Tel Aviv on Tripadvisor and deserves this spot. The location is right in the heart of Tel Aviv. It is not a big hotel, which we consider positive. They offer different rooms with different sizes and the possibility of a balcony. The rooms are bright and very trendy, just like the rest of the hotel. We stayed in the ‘Cozy‘ room and like the other rooms, it was fully equipped with a Nespresso espresso machine, Apple TV, and Netflix. The bathroom has a relaxing rain shower and several Israeli shower products to use.
The lobby is very stylish and cozy. Just outside the lobby is a small terrace (in front of the hotel) to relax and enjoy the passing traffic and pedestrians. On the top floor, there is a lovely roof terrace with sunbeds, a rain shower, and a very impressive view of the city, especially during sunset. One floor below there's a covered terrace that is decorated like a cute Israeli-style backyard. There is a lovely relaxing sofa and chairs to gather together. Books, magazines, and board games are available to recover from your stroll through Tel Aviv. It's a perfect spot to work, relax, and take a break. Free water, tea, and coffee are provided in the lobby, on the roof terrace, and in the covered terrace. You can also grab cold drinks and alcoholic drinks for a small fee. Love it!
In the hotel, there is, of course, air conditioning for those Middle East-heatwaves, and all rooms are equipped with a little refrigerator. There is a possibility of fresh breakfast in the hotel, but there are a lot of trendy breakfast places in the area, so that is not necessary.

Location: 5/5
The hotel is super close to the well-visited Carmel Market, you can walk there in just a few minutes. And along the way, you will come across hip restaurants and (yummy!) local street food. The beaches, like Jerusalem beach, are also within 10 minutes' walking distance. So the hotel is truly located in the heart of Tel Aviv and is surrounded by a lot of different restaurants within walking distance. There is also a park just down the street from the hotel (tip; plan a nice workout here!) and some hip coffee bars. Although the hotel is surrounded by this much activity, you will not be bothered by noise at night.
Hygiëne: 4/5
The hygiene is excellent, the rooms are extensively cleaned and tidied every day. The whole hotel also looks clean and quite new.
Staff: 5/5
The staff is very helpful. They speak good English, just like in the rest of Tel Aviv. In addition to English, they also speak Russian, Hebrew, Italian, Latvian, and Turkish. You will receive information about the hotel via WhatsApp 24 hours in advance and you can chat with the staff if you have any questions or if you need a taxi. Super helpful!
Conclusion: We loved Hotel Saul! It is a soulful hotel with excellent staff and by far the best location in Tel Aviv! Can't wait until we meet again…
