My own personal ‘way too crowded'-day
In this regard, I had quite an unpleasant experience once. Back in 2019, I visited Turkey in the last week of October. I was so excited to see the mesmerizing Antalya. By chance, I arrived there on 29th October, which I didn’t know was the Republic Day in Turkey. It was a national holiday, and there was a massive number of people in the streets of Antalya. It spoiled my whole day in my dream city…

That was the first time I searched for ways to avoid large crowds while traveling. I would not be writing this post today if I had not come across Avoid-Crowds on a random web page. As I browsed its home page, I had known that my prayers were answered. This website lets you know when a particular tourist destination will be crowded, so you can schedule your trip accordingly.
You have to simply enter your date and destination to check its possible crowd prediction. It also has another option for you to enter the country name, and find out the worth-visiting places there with minimum tourists, right at that time. It does so by keeping the data on public holidays, school vacations, and passenger ships in nearby regions.
