There are many, and I mean many, excellent cafes in Canggu (and Berewa). For breakfast and lunch, you are in for a treat! But can you as a digital nomad, ex-pats, entrepreneurs, etc, get some work done on your laptop? Not everywhere, but we did love working at these cafes for a couple of hours.
We love this atmospheric (not-so-hidden) cafe in the heart of Canggu. Really great breakfast, really good lunches, pretty good seats, and you will find many other digital nomads working here. And the internet is pretty fast. All in all, one of our favorite spots for a solid 2-3 hours. Be sure to try out that Superfood Oatmeal here!

This classy well-designed NYC-style cafe is a treat for western digital nomads. The cafe is closed off, so it´s less noisy and not that hot. The air conditioning is set to freezing, which is wonderful on hot days (and not so much on cooler days, ask them if they can turn one off then). Their coffee and menu is excellent by the way!
p.s.; and their second floor is very cool and atmospheric. Reading a good book here (which are scattered all over this cafe by the way) is such a nice thing to do at Coach Cafe.

Their closed-off airconditioned room inside this hip cafe is what brings a smile to digital nomads. It´s quiet and you can sit here fine for about 3 solid hours. And their healthy lunch options are very note-worthy. You´ll be sitting here quite often, just like we did.

Wow, this beautiful open cafe is actually the front of the ZIN resort, but you can freely work here in the very impressive bamboo office. This is a must-see for yourself. They have many seats, power outlets, and ventilators. And their lunch menu is excellent as well. The internet is not that fast, but just sitting here in this amazing place with a cold coconut, is where many people stuck in the 9-5 dream of.

Digital nomads, free birds, expats, and remote workers, assemble!
There are many more pretty good cafes and restaurants that we want to mention. We prefer the suggestions from above, but these options are pretty nice as well!
Miel: This stylish minimalistic place has the best coffee in town! And they also got some decent tables and seats upstairs for you.
Koast: Hidden away across from Dojo Coworking, this beautiful tropical coworking cafe is heaven for us digital nomads!
DuaTiga: This cool restaurant has a dozen of decent tables and seats to get some work done. The second floor is a nice open space. The Thai/Vietnamese menu is also noteworthy, because, of course, it´s all delicious! 😉
The Common Cafe: For a quick session, and a healthy lunch in a pretty NYC-style diner, go to this lovely cafe.
Koloni: Green, hip, healthy, and stylish. And fine seats for some solid hours of work!
Crate Cafe: This hip open industrial cafe is excellent for a quick bite, coffee, and two hours of work and socializing with like-minded free birds.
Hungry Bird Coffee: Yummy coffee, and a couple of decent tables and seats. And if you prefer this, the air conditioning is set on freezing, which is a must on very hot days.
To you from us as digital nomads, have a great workday in one of these great coworking spaces and/or cafes in Canggu!
