The survey
Alee Denham, who is a 32 year old Australian, has traveled 100,000 km on his bike. He has done so across 5 continents. Since cycling is his passion, he came up with the idea of CyclingAbout, and today, it is one of the biggest bicycle travel resources in the world. In order to make this video, he decided to conduct a survey to find the best countries through data.
Denham asked 150 bike travelers to choose 3 favorite countries. All of them were given three votes to cast. As a result, 80 countries were voted for in total. But to make the top 10 list, the ones that won majority votes by count were selected. Even from such a wide pool, the winning country got 18% of the votes!
