Let us show you how we entertain ourselves (with screens we mean) while traveling around the world!
(after a long day of exploring, we love to get snacks and enjoy some quality entertainment – Picture, 711 Tokyo)
We regularly zone out on one of these streaming services, apps, and sites:
Of course, we watch a whole bunch of Youtube videos. We love Youtube! But we even love Youtube Premium more, because you can then download whole videos, so that you can watch them whenever you want, like on a long flight or bus ride. And that affordable subscription also includes Youtube Music (similar to Spotify) and some cool extra shows.
Our favorite travel-related channels are: Kara & Nate, Allan Su, Bald & Bankrupt, Flying the Nest, FunForLouis, Drew Binsky, Ryan van Duzer, Mark Wiens, and Tokyo Lens.
Our favorite non-travel-related channels are: Casey Neistat, PewDiePie, Joseffa and David, Matt D´Avella, Jay Alvarrez, Mike Thurston, and Marques Brownlee.

Oh boy, do I (Martin) love a good fight! Watching some live fight or some legendary reruns of epic fights is one of my favorite things to do.

A good podcast can change your perspective, your mindset, and your whole way of living. We prefer podcasts about personal development, philosophy, mindset, finances, sports, travel, media, and current world topics.
A great book can be the ultimate gamechanger. A little sentence has the power to change you and your mindset forever. We´ve read mostly books about self-development, mindset, business, history, and philosophy. And we recommend you do some of that as well. It has benefited us enormously. Without these books mentioned below, we wouldn't be traveling the world as free birds!
Our personal recommendations to read:
On our to-read-list:
Music is the sound of the soul. Everything we find the right tunes and beats, we are elated, happy, and in the now. Where would we all be, without some good music?!
Nowadays, you can get a cheap subscription, and have the entire library of music in your hands. An amazing feat in human achievement. We recommend these music streaming services:
Music for work
We love to listen to all sorts of calming, cool, and refreshing tunes to get in the flow, to keep focus, and get work done. There are a couple of awesome Youtube channels that provide you and us with perfect ´flowmusic´. Thank us later for these relaxing and very cool tunes and beats!
Yes, of course, we are also addicted to social media feeds. To be honest, we watch at least an hour or two a day on these addicting feeds that always seem to find a way to entertain, inform, and inspire you.
Our personal favorite travel accounts to follow: Karl Shakur, Aggie, Jungraphy, Travel Before Time, and Along Dusty Roads.

Although people are really mean on Twitter, it is still the fastest way to get news and developments from all sorts of interesting subjects and people. Follow the right ones, and Twitter can really be a great place to expand your worldview, see opportunities, and meet like-minded people.
Our personal favorite accounts: David Goggins, Documenting Bitcoin, Rogier Bak, and Nomadic Matt.
The most fun and most addicting social media app thus far! An hour of Tiktokking a day, we´re guilty of it… It just works so smoothly, and it has great content about travel hacks, crypto, news. world views, and of course: silly humor to lighten the mood. Recommending any account is tough because we usually just check the For You Page. And that´s a big mix of trending, funny, weird, absurd, and interesting videos. The algorithm will tune a little bubble of things you will like.
But… we have to be honest here. TikTok is too good. Best you don´t even start with it and focus on more productive things, like arranging your next awesome trip!
Our personal favorite accounts: Well, just scrolling the For You Page is so much fun!
We miss gaming. We miss sitting in front of a giant 4K television and game all weekend long. But we´re full-time travelers nowadays and we don´t have access to a good gaming pc/laptop or console. Nonetheless, we still watch trends about video games and love to give some good tips for gamers who do have a gaming rig's luxury.
Console & pc
If you still have the option to play games on a console or laptop/pc, then we highly recommend these great videogames:
Mobile games
These fun little games are great for on the road (or while in the air) for your smartphone and tablet. When you have 15-30 minutes to kill, you+ll love these silly mobile games:
