It also offers flexibility with the job that you do, enabling you to be everything from a photographer to a writer to a marketer – or a bit of everything! Long-distance moving away can be scary, but it can end up being one of the best things that you’ll ever do. Become a freelance writer
A freelance writer is a great way to earn money wherever you please. You can apply for freelance writing jobs through a host of sites including Fat Joe, People Per Hour and more. You could take a look on Linkedin, or even write directly to companies to ask if they have any freelance writing jobs going. It can be a good idea to hone in on a particular area that you’re experienced in, such as property, technology, food or something similar.
Do photography
To be a photographer, you need a camera, a laptop and editing software and knowledge of the skill. There are many courses you can do to help you learn photography and you can also teach yourself. You need to know about things such as setting the aperture, the f/stop and all the other technical elements of photography. You will also need a creative eye to enable you to see the best shots for you to take. You can find jobs online as well as contact businesses. Try to practice in your spare time as much as you can.

If you are already a marketer in your job or if it’s a role that you have always been interested in, why not take it remote and do it as a digital nomad? You could specialize in a particular area of marketing, or you could be an all-rounder when you know a bit of everything. Be sure to enroll in some courses and keep up to date with the latest marketing trends.
