To help us out, we have you the most perfect TED talk. Meet Ben Saunders, a true explorer who conquers mountains and travels to the most dangerous places in the world. This amazing speech from 2012 maybe an older one, but it's a timeless one with a very important message for everybody who's too scared to take a risk.
Explorer Ben Saunders wants you to go outside! Not because it's always pleasant and happy, but because that's where the meat of life is, “the juice that we can suck out of our hours and days.” Saunders' next outdoor excursion? To try to be the first in the world to walk from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole and back again.

Ben Saunders became in 2004 the youngest person ever to ski solo to the North Pole! In 2013, he retraced Captain Scott’s ill-fated journey to the South Pole on foot, another record-breaking expedition. He urges audiences to consider carefully how to spend the “tiny amount of time we each have on this planet.” Saunders is also a strong advocate for the natural world and climate change. With his expeditions, he is raising awareness for sustainable solutions to stop and make people aware of climate change.
