The notorious bullet trains of Japan are called Shinkansen train, but you probably already knew that. But I can assure you that you did not know how absurdly fast it looks when this Shinkansen train crosses a station at full speed!
The Shinkansen train takes you from Tokyo to almost all major cities in Japan. They do this at a maximum speed of 320 kilometers per hour, making domestic flights almost unnecessary! In total, they transport about 350 million people every year! 320 kilometers an hour is about 192 miles per hour. That is shocking fast! And the crazy part is; when you're on the train, everything seems so smooth and controlled. A ride on this bad boy has been put on my bucket list!
